Sorry for the delay in sharing this update.

It took a little longer this time because we fixed a lot of the bugs that were getting in your way!

Here's what's new in this update!

  1. Fika Music service shutdown

  1. Fika Music Service Shutdown

A heartfelt thank you to every creator who used Fika Music. Under YouTube's new policy, third-party music revenue-sharing services are no longer allowed, so we've had no choice but to shut down Fika Music.

  • All earnings through October 2025 were settled by November 15. (Users who met the minimum payout threshold of about $38 have already been paid out.)

  • Unpaid amounts below that threshold are forfeited due to YouTube data availability limitations.

  • All personal data will be securely deleted in accordance with applicable laws.

  • You don't need to take down Shorts you've already uploaded! There are no copyright issues.

  1. Editor Video Import

  • If the clip you're working on in the Editor doesn't include the part you want, you can now pull in a portion from another segment of the generated video

  1. Clip Drag & Drop Reordering

  • You can now reorder clips with drag & drop while editing, for a smoother workflow

  1. Referral Rewards Program

  • FikaClip's referral rewards program is now live. Share your link with friends or on social media and earn 10% of their subscription fee!

  1. Image and Text Assets in Video Templates

  • You can now add images and text to video templates in advance, so you can build polished, richly customized templates before generating your video.

  • Fixed caption outline still showing after unchecking the outline option in caption styles

  • Fixed background being applied when clicking a solid color in video templates

  • Fixed Instagram login not working in the web browser
