After the all-new editor launched in Ver6.0, we spent July stacking up even more features.

This update focuses on publishing your finished Shorts straight to social media, and expanding into more languages and effects.

Hit the upload button on the results screen, pick as many connected channels as you like, and post to all of them at once or schedule for the date and time you want.

✨ 2. New editing effects (VFX)

Editor V4 has a new editing effects (VFX) panel for overlays on your video.

Light leaks, sparkles, bokeh, smoke, glitch, and more — one click drops an effect onto the timeline and changes the whole mood of your video.

🎇 38 effects across 15 categories, ordered from subtle to spectacular
🔁 A loop toggle lets you extend an effect across any range you want
⏩ Change the playback speed and the effect length automatically follows the video
🎬 Preview and apply effects the same way as transitions, so there's nothing new to learn

🌍 3. Multilingual dubbing (localization)

Make a Short once, then translate and dub it into another language in a single step.

Pick a language on the results page, and FikaClip translates the captions and title, then generates a new version dubbed with an AI voice that fits the language.

🗣️ Supports Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish
🎧 A voice is picked automatically for each language for natural-sounding dubbing
🔤 Language-appropriate fonts are applied automatically, so captions never break
🔄 If a language fails to generate, you can retry, and credits are refunded automatically

💳 4. Revamped credit system and extra credit top-ups

Usage rules used to vary from feature to feature. Now everything runs on one thing: credits.

Whatever your plan tier, as long as you have credits you can freely use AI features like AI voice, AI text, and dubbing.

🔢 Every button shows the credits it uses, so you know the cost before you click
➕ Running low? Top up extra credits on the spot (shown combined with your subscription credits)
📊 The redesigned Settings > Usage page shows where your credits went and how much you spent, at a glance
📜 A new credit usage policy page, and a pricing page updated for the new credit system
📬 We'll email you a heads-up before your credits expire

🎯 5. Clip quality score cards, plus result filtering and sorting

On the results page, you can now see how the AI rated each clip.

Five criteria — hook, topic relevance, engagement, flow, and ending — are shown as a radar chart with a letter grade (A–F), making it easier to decide which clip to post first.

📈 Sort by score or by length
🔍 Filter by AI score, emotion/tone, status, or length
💡 If a clip fails to generate, the reason is shown right on the card

🎨 6. Editor V4 convenience improvements

Based on your feedback from Ver6.0, we ironed out the editor's small annoyances, one by one.

🖼️ Set an image you've uploaded as the background directly
🎨 Color picker upgrades: type HEX codes directly, save favorite colors (★), and see recently used colors
↕️ Drag captions on the canvas to adjust their vertical position, and click a caption to jump straight to its edit tab
👁️ New caption visibility ON/OFF toggle
🔄 Rotation and resizing are more intuitive, and visual options like image and watermark flipping are now saved
⌨️ Type font sizes and segment times directly with the keyboard
⏸️ Click the canvas during playback to pause and select instantly
🎙️ The AI voice modal remembers your last input, and you can stretch an image across the full duration in one go
🧩 Fixed brief video and audio dropouts at clip boundaries

⏱️ 7. A smoother short-form generation flow

The first step — turning a long video into Shorts — is easier too.

⌨️ Type timecodes directly when setting a time range (HH:MM:SS) — precise to the second, even on long videos
⏳ YouTube videos over 4 hours can now be converted using the first 4 hours
🚀 When you upload a video directly, the convert button appears immediately and shows progress (%)
📦 See each plan's upload size limit and unsupported file formats up front

🎞️ 8. Video template improvements

Video templates — the ones that capture your signature style — are now easier to create and manage.

🆕 Start a new template from a recommended one and build on that style
📑 Duplicate and rename templates
🧱 Drag to reorder elements in the layer panel, and jump straight to the caption, title, and logo layers
📐 Platform-specific safe zone guides overlaid on the preview
▶️ A player below the preview with loop playback, and spacebar to play/pause
📁 Higher asset library upload limits, and audio uploads now open to the Pro plan

🔢 Email verification switched from clicking a link to entering a 6-digit code, so logging in on mobile is faster
🖥️ Redesigned sign-up screen
🌐 A single language setting now changes both the interface and email language
💬 Turn on KakaoTalk notifications (Korea) and you can enter and save your phone number right there
🧭 Sidebar icons now have tooltips, so menus are easier to find
