Hi, it's the FikaClip team! 🍂

In September, we focused on taking the Shorts you make in FikaClip further: finishing them in other editing tools, re-pulling the exact scenes you want, and dressing them up with richer visuals.

That means big additions like CapCut and Premiere Pro export, Motion elements, and prompt-based regeneration.

Here's everything that's new, one by one!

🎬 1. Export to CapCut and Premiere Pro

You can now export Shorts made in FikaClip as a CapCut draft or a Premiere Pro project.

The segments and captions the AI picked out come along with it, so you can finish the job in the editing tool you already know.

• 📥 Choose CapCut or Premiere Pro from the download menu on the results page

• 📊 See export progress step by step, and get a notification when it's done

• 🔁 If an export fails, you'll see why and can try again

✨ 2. New Motion elements — reaction, emphasis, and CTA animations

Editor V4 now includes around 60 animated "Motion" elements.

Reactions like surprise and agreement, number and keyword emphasis, like-and-follow CTAs, speaker tags, and more — all layered directly onto your video without any outside tools.

🔁 3. Regenerate the scenes you want with a prompt

Not happy with the generated results? Tell the AI "pull a scene like this" with a prompt, and it will create additional clips for you.

• ⚡ Reuses the original analysis, so new clips generate fast without re-running the whole video

• 💡 Suggested prompts mean you never have to wonder what to type

• 🏷️ Prompt-generated clips are tagged with a chip in the results list, so you can filter them at a glance

📤 4. Social Upload upgrades — direct TikTok integration and YouTube scheduled publishing

• 🎵 Switched to TikTok's official integration — newly connected accounts get more reliable posting and scheduling

• ▶️ Scheduled YouTube uploads now go up as private first and switch to public at the scheduled time, so you can review them in YouTube Studio before they go live (with a direct link to Studio)

• 🕔 Pick schedule times in 5-minute increments

• 🖼️ Thumbnails are sent along with the upload

• 🛟 If you hit YouTube's upload limit, we automatically switch to a backup integration — and failed uploads never use up your free quota

🎛️ 5. More short-form generation options — clip length, content category, and title tone

• ⏱️ Choose a clip length — Auto, under 30 seconds, 30–59 seconds, and more

• 🗂️ Pick from 19 content categories (economy, politics, health, real estate, religion, and more)

• 🇯🇵 When generating in Japanese, choose from 6 title tones

• 👀 Watch a video preview while setting the time range

• 🧹 The input field clears automatically once generation is complete

🏠 6. AI generation right from the dashboard

• 🪄 Start generating images, videos, background music, and sound effects straight from the dashboard home — progress shows in a toast at the bottom right

• 🎙️ New entry point for voice cloning

• 📌 FikaClip remembers your last workspace and opens it right away

• 🌐 Default and recommended video templates for each language

🎙️ 7. Premium voices and multilingual voice cloning

• ⭐ New, more natural-sounding premium TTS voices — marked with a badge and a quality filter

• 🌍 Voice cloning now works across multiple languages, with new voice filters for Traditional Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese

🔤 8. More expressive text and fonts

• ✒️ Fixed jagged edges on thick outlines, and you can now stack up to 3 outline layers

• ↔️ Adjust title letter spacing (in the editor and in video templates)

• 📝 Set the number of title lines in video templates, with per-line and per-highlighted-word styling

• 🈶 45 new Japanese fonts, plus 22 new fonts for Korean, Traditional Chinese, and English/Portuguese

• 🖼️ Fill image margins with a blurred version of the original, and type exact position, size, and rotation values in the image, video, and blur panels

• 🈂️ Better caption handling for languages without spaces, like Japanese and Chinese

🛠️ 9. Small fixes and quality-of-life improvements

• ▶️ Fixed stuttering on first playback in the results page, and made switching between videos smoother

• ⚡ Faster editor load times

• 🎞️ Fixed an issue where generating right after saving a template applied the previous style, and where reopening a template duplicated text

• 🧾 When the source video has been modified and export isn't possible, we now explain why and lock the button

• ⌨️ Fixed arrow keys skipping the video while editing captions or titles, and the selected video being deselected when navigating back after editing

• 🔁 Fixed the first attempt at AI precision caption regeneration failing

• 📱 Fixed mobile layouts on the settings, navigation, and subscription screens

• 💳 Plan cards now show a credit conversion guide — "about N Shorts per month"
