English education built for video
Sangsang Square has built self-development content for readers and viewers since 2017. Its official company page reports more than 420 million cumulative channel views.
The company has expanded across nonfiction publishing and English education. Its PDS 2023 planner ranked first weekly in its Naver Smart Store category for seven consecutive months.
Turning books and educational content into channel-ready video requires both editorial judgment and production speed. A media producer's role extends well beyond cutting footage.

Finding a concise lesson inside a long English video
A producer on Sangsang Square's media team plans and edits short-form videos from publishing and English education content. The work includes shaping a strong title and selecting the right moments.

Selecting a clip is only the beginning. Each Short still needs to preserve the original idea while refining the opening title and subtitle flow.
About 90 minutes for one Short
Before Fika Clip, one Short took about 90 minutes to complete. Because the team also produced long-form videos, every additional Short added pressure.
Developing an idea required reference videos first. Even with GPT or Claude, the team still had to gather relevant examples.
When schedules tightened, short-form production could be postponed entirely. The bottleneck included both editing time and the search for a workable idea.
Turning a long English video into a vertical Short
The media team found Fika Clip while searching for an AI Shorts editor. It had also tried another automated editing service before adding Fika Clip to the workflow.
The team encountered no meaningful internal resistance during adoption. It became easier to begin a Short and find a workable direction.
Title options helped the team set an editing direction quickly. The time saved went into comparing and refining the results.

A steady stream of English-learning Shorts
Youngdok's Shorts cover conversational patterns and practical study methods. Each vertical video puts one question or expression at the center of its opening frame.

For a channel like this, maintaining a pool of candidates matters alongside the time required for one finished video. The media team compares several outputs before choosing what to use.
Seven videos in one hour during an internal hackathon
During an internal hackathon, the media team used Premiere and Fika Clip together. It completed seven Shorts in one hour and placed first.
A simple comparison with the previous 90-minute baseline indicates roughly 10.5 times more output per hour. This was a focused event result, not a routine production average.
The result was not only about automation. Producing several videos quickly made it easier to choose the ones worth using.
Advice for teams short on production time
The interview participant recommends Fika Clip to teams that struggle to reserve one or two hours for every Short. Even a first-time user can begin quickly and review an initial result sooner.
“If one Short takes one or two hours and that keeps you from starting, try Fika Clip. You can compare several results and choose a video you can actually use much faster.”
Turning short-form pressure into a repeatable workflow
The change at Sangsang Square goes beyond production speed. The team shortened the first stage of production while protecting title quality and subtitle accuracy.
Fika Clip did not replace the editor. It helped the media team get started faster and can reduce the initial production burden for teams working across long-form and short-form video.
